Skyrocket Secures iGaming Rights for FilmsLondon-based entertainment firm Skyrocket has reportedly secured a number of prestigious international brand rights under a new content deal. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will be permitted to develop interactive gambling games based on numerous blockbuster Hollywood films.

Through a deal with American-based Millennium Media, Skyrocket will be producing all-new gaming content and titles based on films that include The Expendables, Rambo VIII, and the popular Fallen franchise, among a few other choice titles.

Development Starts in May 2019

The British entertainment house will begin its development of the new games next month, according to one of their most recent press statements. In the statement, they also detailed that they are expecting a release date for the slots to be penned for sometime next year.

Commenting on the agreement, CEO of Skyrocket Sean O’Kelly has noted that he and his team are excited to be working alongside Millennium Media on this thrilling pursuit. The deal, he says, will add the latter company’s ‘crown jewels’ of their library to Skyrocket’s own portfolio, pairing classic films with innovative iGaming technology.

In his statement, O’Kelly noted that Millennium recognized the value and potential of the aforementioned revenue stream from the start. Now, he says, both parties are looking forward to creating fresh and engaging gaming content around all of the beloved films mentioned above, which will resonate with both new and established audiences across the globe.

Games to be Launched on 350 Sites

According to the CEO, Skyrocket has already inked a number of exclusive deals with leading iGaming platform suppliers in order to ensure that the games are as successful as possible on launch. The new titles are set to be rolled out in major regulated markets like those of Malta, the UK, Russia, Asia and Eastern Europe across over 350 licensed gaming websites. However, it should be noted that the licensing deal between Skyrocket and Millennium excludes rights for content aimed at the US and Mainland Chinese markets.
