Live casino games have become incredibly popular in recent years, as technology and Internet speeds have improved, so too have the entertainment offerings. While Evolution Gaming, NetEnt and Microgaming may be the best-known brands in the business, another well-known developer has recently launched its own live dealer offering. Now, Pragmatic Play has just signed its 1st live casino customer, namely operator and games supplier Interwetten.
Pragmatic Play’s proposed involvement in the relatively young sector of live casino games was announced early last year. At the time, the company had said that it planned an official launch at this year’s London ICE Totally Gaming expo. It ended up doing just that. Not surprisingly, the industry was duly impressed. Pragmatic Play has over the years managed to acquire a name for itself as being one of those rare developers consistently committed to creating content of a high standard only.
Whilst it’s true that the live casino industry, despite being unchartered territory for the most part, has been around for quite some time now, the industry is in many ways still walking in its baby shoes. In fact, there has only ever been one major role-player, and that has been Evolution Gaming. Pragmatic Play’s announcement was received in a positive spirit, as its proposed involvement meant that Evolution would for the first time be challenged to achieve higher things by a competitor that was worth its weight in gold.
The construction of Pragmatic’s new Romania-based studio has been confirmed complete. The developer has said that it take pride of its new studio, and especially since no stone was left unturned in an effort to ensure that the studio equipped with only the best in gadgetry and hardware.
A large selection of live dealer games will be available for play, including Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack. The games will be available on desktop and mobile, and will run flawlessly on all popular operating systems.
According to Interwetten’s Head of Casino, namely Mario Bilic, the operator is very happy to be the first to have signed up with Pragmatic Play and its new offering. Bilic was quoted as saying that Interwetten holds the developer in very high regard. He also declared the operator 100% confident in Pragmatic’s abilities to bring the best in live casino entertainment to its players all over the world.
