Evolution GamingThere can be no doubt as to what the live casino specialists at Evolution Gaming have been up to during the past couple of months. Evolution Gaming’s stand really was the talk of the town at this year’s Totally Gaming ICE London because the team had an incredible range of brand-new games on display; 10 of them, to be exact.

But it was without a doubt their flagship offering that stood out for most people. Deal or No Deal, based on the popular television game show, was premiered live for the very first time. Live casino has never been quite this exhilarating and best of all; it’s available on desktop and mobile, 7 days a week; 24 hours a day. Talk about round-the-clock entertainment!

Adapting To Change

According to the company’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter, many of Evolution’s games, especially the ones being developed at present, are born from the realisation that the market is changing. Companies like Netflix and internet-entertainment like YouTube are in direct competition with the iGaming industry.

If the industry is going to hold on to its customers, being the players, it will have to offer a more captivating alternative. And the competition is everything but easy, what with some of the best television and Internet shows that the world has ever seen being produced as we speak.

The race for entertainment-space is well and truly on.

Through The Looking Glass

Haushalter made a number of interesting comments that offer a glimpse into what it’s really like to develop a game like Deal or No Deal, having been first a popular television show. He said that the real challenge was that the developers wanted to incorporate all of the elements that combined to make the television game show the mammoth hit that it was, and still is, complete with the engaging host, the excitement of the anticipation build-up, etc.

Haushalter said that this, more than anything, was why the Deal or No Deal live casino studio turned out to be Evolution Gaming’s most complex studio to date.

Some of Evolution’s other games on show at ICE London included: Free Bet Blackjack, Lightning Dice (remember Lightning Roulette?), Side Bet City, Super Sic Bo, and Infinite Blackjack.
