Expert supplier of online and mobile gaming solutions Yggdrasil Gaming now has an exciting announcement for its fans that have a particular penchant for playing mobile bingo from their iPhones. The developer will soon be entering the thriving online multiplayer bingo sector, which it will achieve by launching its brand new, mobile-first bingo product.
The bingo service, which is set to go live at Yggdrasil casinos sometime in the next few months, will be optimised for both desktop and mobile play. As well as being compatible with all iOS smartphones and tablets, the new service will also offer a ‘seamless’ multichannel bingo experience, according to Yggdrasil spokespeople.
The expert developer also has plans to integrate several popular features into the service, including its in-house range of BOOST promotional and marketing tools. Currently, BOOST is only available through Yggdrasil’s proprietary slots, but this will soon change as the firm makes its entry into the international bingo landscape.
In addition to this, the firm will also use its products to encourage and cultivate social gaming interaction. A secure chat feature will allow players to converse with each other as they play, and a new reactions feature will also be integrated to keep up to date with the latest trend in communication: Emoji’s.
CEO of Yggdrasil Frederik Elmqvist has noted that his company has been analysing the bingo market for quite some time now, noticing that there is potential to introduce exciting innovations to what he says has become a dormant part of the iGaming industry as a whole.
Elmqvist commented that with Yggdrasil’s social gaming expertise, the firm can bring a fresh new dimension to the world of bingo, thereby attracting a whole new demographic of players on what he terms a ‘much lower CPA basis’ compared to that of the casino sector. This, he says, will drive revenues in multiple streams using Yggdrasil’s BOOST tools and integration of mini-slots into the service.
When the new bingo product launches, Elmqvist has noted that players will easily spot his company’s industry leading bingo features, which have been adapted from the wider iGaming industry for this purpose. According to the CEO, this will reinvigorate the once popular pastime and create a competitive product that will no doubt rival all others on the market today.
