Now, the live casino software provider has just posted its fiscal results for the last three months ended 30 June 2017, showing a number of promising developments across all of its verticals.

The live dealer developer revealed positive growth for its Q2 financial status, crediting the success of its mobile gaming operations in particular for the rise in revenues. Evolution’s operating revenue in the second quarter rose to an impressive sum of $49.3 million, showing an increase of over 56% on the sum collected in the same period of 2016.

Live Casino Provider’s EBITDA Grows 81%

The software provider’s earnings before tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also showed a notable increase, growing 81% over the previous year to reach $22.4 million. Evolution’s profit climbed from $8.9 million in 2016 to $17 million in the second quarter of this year.

CEO of Evolution, Martin Carlesund, has commented on his company’s positive financial results for the quarter in review. According to the executive, he is pleased to be able to report strong growth for the eventful quarter in several different areas, noting that the ‘favourable momentum’ of the company’s past quarters has continued during Q2 with strong and steady growth all around.

He also noted that the gaming revenues generated by the Evolution platform using mobile devices has for the first time in Q2 exceeded 50%, signalling a high demand for live dealer mobile gaming using the developer’s software.

CEO Carlesund Announces New Live Studio in Tbilisi, Georgia

The CEO continued, saying that his company is seeing continued live casino initiatives among its customers, who have also been advertising their offerings increasingly towards end users. Land-based casinos, Carlesund pointed out, have also continued to show interest in Evolution’s Dual Play Roulette; its latest converging product which is available to its entire licensee network, and can be sound at the Grand Casino Bucharest.

Carlesund finished his statement by announcing that, after the end of Q2, Evolution Gaming has been given the go-ahead to establish its next major live dealer studio in the city of Tbilisi in Georgia. From the studio, the executive said, the company will continue to expand by offering its services to new regulated markets and clients.
